Project Description
Muse Communications, a legal marketing firm based out of Texas, was interested to know more about the performance of their website. Though Google Analytics was installed and tracking, Muse Communications wanted to track specific metrics in easy-to-read reports.
After a discovery meeting, Digital Dynamo proposed a strategy to track 4 conversions:
Session Duration
Contact Form Submissions
Clicks on the Phone Number
Clicks on “Read More” links
Measuring these conversions would give Muse a better indication on whether their content was engaging readers and generating leads.
To implement the tracking, Digital Dynamo installed Google Tag Manager. We then implemented tags and set-up the goals in Google Analytics that would track each conversion.
Digital Dynamo then developed 6 easy-to-read charts in Google Data Studio for Muse Communications to glean insights about its website. These charts demonstrated:
Monthly Traffic
Traffic sources that led to conversions
Top landing pages and bounce rate
Top devices
Non-brand organic search queries
Cities where visitors live
